He grew up in Bulgaria and played music in various projects and bands. In 2001 he founded Kozza Mostra in Sofia, Bulgaria. As front man, writer and composer, he is not only the mastermind of the band, but also the singer and clarinet player of Kozza Mostra.
Lubo was born in Bulgaria and tricked into buying a guitar by his brother (who wanted to have one) when he was 13. Soon he grew close to the instrument and played in various projects. He joined Kozza Mostra in 2010.
He started his drum career back in 1976. Not only did he play in a wide range of styles as rock, funk, gospel, latin jazz, grunge or punk, but also in four reggae bands before he joined Kozza Mostra. These were Eddy Watts Band, The Producers, Burning Roots und Dub Division.
As a little child he already started drumming on his parents couch, so he initially became a drummer. When he was 17, he switched to bass and stayed there. Beside uncountable sessions and lots of bands he played in, he also worked as a professional for event technique for over a decade.
The saxophone of the band also grew up in Bulgaria. After moving to Hamburg, where he plays live more or less every night, he stayed a part of the band.
He grew up in Norderstedt during the 90th, where he started playing guitar when he was 6 years old. Thinking about becoming a musician in his teen years, he learned a lot in bands, on sessions and from teachers as e.g. Marcus Deml. For Kozza Mostra he plays guitar and chips in the German lyrics and vocals.
